A series of recent Amway stories indicates Amway is coming unhinged:

1. This youtube video, posted July 1, 2016, which was AFTER the Russian track team was banned from the upcoming Olympics, starts off with snippets of track and field competitors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjldGxmIZZg&feature=youtu.be Can you say tone deaf?
2. Here’s a story about Amway saving money by “mining” old research rather than spend money on new research: https://www.warc.com/LatestNews/News/Amway_maximises_return_on_research.news?ID=36938 After falling 8.5% and 12% the past 2 years, it looks like Amway is pinching the pennies.
3. Here’s yet another IRS case where the IBO was found running a hobby, as they couldn’t provide evidence of trying to make a profit: http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterjreilly/2016/06/25/tax-court-denies-amway-losses-due-to-lack-of-profit-motive/#6f2d504f4815 It’s amazing that the IRS hasn’t figured out that every, or at least nearly every, case they’ve looked at has had the same results. As stated in the comments, the IRS should perform a larger sample of IBOs who have been with Amway for more than 3 years and they will find the VAST majority of them are operating just like these folks were, and then do a complete audit of all Amway IBOs and other MLMs for that matter. It would bring in a windfall of money into the treasury and probably put these scams out of business.
