MLive Exposes Amway…NOT!

censorship-610101

Be sure to review this before proceeding: http://stoptheamwaytoolscam.wordpress.com/about/

5/29/2014 – More censoring from MLive, here’s the original story comments: Amway calls second arrest of leader in India ‘unjustified and unnecessary’ _ MLive (you may have to save the document and zoom in to read the removed comments) and here’s the current link:

http://www.mlive.com/business/west-michigan/index.ssf/2014/05/amway_leader_arrested_in_india.html

The press is supposed to be the 4th pillar of government, but MLive has been controlled by Amway for a VERY long time, because Amway pays them off with all kinds of community “goodies.” LOL

See below, no further explanation necessary.

I wanted to notify and thank you all for protecting Amway regardless of how unethically, immorally, and illegally they operate their business, in a manner much closer to Bernie Madoff than a legitimate business.
Amway has ripped off literally millions of people for several decades, to the tune of 10s to 100s of billions of dollars, and this situation has been fixed in other countries, such as the UK and India, but not in the U.S.
But as long as Grand Rapids is doing okay from their guilt ridden contributions, everything is okay, isn’t it?
I have been “banned” from your site and will soon place this email and some of the comments I saved before being “scrubbed” from your site, which are also attached for your convenience.
I know, I probably broke some of your posting rules, and others who were not removed also violated your rules, but if you’re looking for an excuse, any excuse will do, right?
Who cares about consistency? It’s terribly overrated.
Your inability/unwillingness to do your sacred journalism job of shining the bright light of truth on the activities on all citizens is the main reason why journalists are so widely looked down upon, and one of many reasons why your “profession” is rapidly disappearing.
I’ll assume you are kept alive with Amway money, and therefore operate in concert with Amway to keep their tool scam alive.
This goes a long way to explain why Amway stays in the Grand Rapids area, they couldn’t have the media in their back pocket in a large city.
Here’s my blog, you will soon be the second thread on it: stoptheamwaytoolscam.wordpress.com

Re: Amway acquires most of Ada village to enable redesign project

MLive doesn’t deserve their own blog. Perhaps a single thread on my blog….

1. Amway publishes the GROSS profit for the average IBO. I’m interested in the NET profit of IBOs. You can’t spend gross profit, only net profit.
2. Which TOS did I violate?

As you can see, NEITHER organization is honest about how they operate. This isn’t my expectation, it is what should be any reasonable person’s expectation.

I’ll stick with my factual Amway web site for now, I’ll let you save the rest of the world.

There are literally MILLIONS of people who “failed” at Amway because they got ripped off, and that’s why Amway was willing to settle with Pokorny for $155 million, it keeps them out of court.

Grow up and stop being ignorant.

All of my “claims” are backed up on my site. Why don’t you bring up something specific I’ve said rather than your nebulous “conspiracy in every dark corner” tripe? I never said everything the government does, or any large corporation, is illegal by default, that was YOU making that statement. Not me. There’s no reasoning with you. You are the adult equivalent of a three-year-old covering his ears and shouting “I can’t hear you!”

The point is the truth is being suppressed, and you don’t care. If you don’t want to know the truth, you haven’t missed much. I’ll bet you like your government lying to you as well, don’t you, Mikey?

Actually, it applies to all levels of government. But when free speech abuse is extended to the private sector, although not against the law, it is against an honest, open, and transparent discussion of the facts. I don’t like it, and already have my own website. I also copied all of my comments that used to be posted, to show others how MLive apparently wants to shield their “sugar daddy”, aka Amway. LOL

Don’t you believe in freedom of speech? You should probably remove leftiesareillogical’s comment as well, as it is a response to my comment. It no longer makes any sense. Did you know I literally put my life on the line in the military to protect YOUR freedom of speech?

A few people getting rich because millions were ripped off isn’t my idea of a success story. Just because DeVos gives away some of his loose change because he feels guilty about how he achieved his billions in the first place doesn’t make it right. Or good. You need to read my blog and become educated about this issue.

Rubbish. Bernie’s scam was around for decades before he was caught, and Amway has been caught in the UK, India, and perhaps other countries I’m not aware of. You obviously didn’t read my blog to educate yourself about these facts. I was scammed just like millions of others have been for the past several decades, to the tune of 10s to 100s of billions of dollars.

Matt,

You missed the point. The point is somebody who has money because their daddy started a scam, and he was a CEO of the scam, isn’t qualified to get involved in this issue any more than Bernie Madoff is. It has NOTHING to do with RTW, it has EVERYTHING to do with who he is, a scammer. You obviously didn’t read my blog.

DeVos is rich because his daddy started Amway, which is a scam. He doesn’t have the ethical or moral authority to be involved in this issue. Google stoptheamwaytoolscam for more information.

Dave,
Here’s the other example, from http://www.mlive.com/ada-cascade/index.ssf/2012/12/ada_township_announces_amway_a.html:
Scott, those are pretty hefty allegations. Care to back them up with facts?Multi-level marketing isn’t my thing, but that doesn’t mean it’s a scam. Unlike a bogus investment, with Amway you do get products/services for the money spent. The problem is many people have unrealistic expectations about how easy it will be to turn this consumer driven company into a profitable ‘independent business owner’ opportunity. The greatest part is, that if you don’t want to buy Amway stuff…you don’t have to. In fact, I have never bought an Amway product, but I do rather enjoy the fruits of them being in GR.

This poster is naming me by name, and the comment he was responding to that was removed was:

You may not be aware, but the Pokorny lawsuit was recently settled, for a reported $155 million. However, the settlement does not address the central issue, the massive amounts of money being made on the tools, and now our 95 page objection has been “lost” between the class administrators and the Pokorny lawyers, and is the only objection which didn’t show up with the 18 others that were a part of the settlement decision. I can forward you the email exchange I have with the lawyers, claiming they didn’t receive the objection, as well as the objection itself, which the class administrator states they have, and they are right now determining whether it was ever sent to the lawyers.

Dave,
Thanks, I was merely presenting facts, and was confronted with all kinds of nonsensical comments in return. However, I saw at least a couple of comments that were left hanging after my comment was removed. I can tell you which ones if you’re interested. As the topic I brought up is rather unpleasant by its nature, it is a short distance to the playground taunts. If you read all of my comments, I think you will find I was the one pulling towards the kitchen table, and the others were pulling towards the playground.

Thanks, Scott. I’ll give a look.
Our comment removal software removes all responses to a deleted comment. I’m assuming because it would be out of context of comments were left hanging out there. But many times that means non-offensive comments get removed, too.
And, a lot of time, people can just make the same point, but can do so with the insulting language.
We’re trying to make the comments more of a kitchen table discussion and not playground taunts. It’s a project…..

Dave,
Thanks for responding. My original comment on the recent story: http://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2012/12/dick_devos.html was related to how Dick DeVos got the money in the first place in order to be involved in this issue in the manner he is involved, providing funding for the RTW legislation passage AND a promise to financially support potential recall/reelection campaigns in the future.
In order to understand my position, read my blog: http://stoptheamwaytoolscam.wordpress.com/, and I would be happy explain this situation further and answer all of your questions via email or over the telephone. Thanks again.
